Cassie was born on June 23, 1989 in United States
, she grew up educated by her parents through homeschooling before attending public school at 13.  She majored in environmental studies in College. At 21 she started her own business and her solo travels where she would live in 9 countries and travel to 25 before the age of 25.

She is the first woman on record to visit all 193 countries recognised by the United Nations, plus Taiwan, Kosovo and Palestine, in just 18 months and 26 days. She is 2x Guinness World Record holder, CEO Expedition 196,LLC and founder of Her International Inc.

Her dream to travel to every single country on earth began when she was in high school. But out of fear of what she heard about what would happen to her if she traveled alone and lack of money, Cassie postponed her dream. On July, 2015 she started her expedition to promote Global Peace through the International Institute of Peace. Cassie commented in an interview that the expedition was not a trip or a vacation, she had a mission and sponsorships, she had to film an educational documentary.

Cassie is speaker, activist and author of the book “Expedition 196: A Personal Journal from the First Woman on Record to Travel to Every Country in the World”. She also enjoys competing in Ironman triathlon races and she is in the process to obtain her Private Pilot License.
